Welcome to the online home of the Western Reserve Area Agency on Aging (WRAAA).
The Area Agency is responsible for planning, coordinating and administering state and federal funded programs and
services for older adults. It is one of twelve regional area agencies on aging designated by the Ohio Department of Aging as authorized by
the federal Older Americans Act.
Applications for the 2013 Senior Farmersí Market Nutrition Program (SFMNP) will be available in early July. The SFMNP is funded by the United States Department of Agriculture (USDA) and provides eligible participants with $50.00 worth of coupons to purchase fresh, unprepared, locally grown fruits, vegetables, herbs and honey from participating farmers. The purpose of the SFMNP is to improve the nutritional health of low-income seniors and to increase business for local farmers.
